Wires
I was just wondering if a new set of FRPP spark plug wires would do my 97 cobra any good? It has like 89K miles on it, and i dont know how often wires need to be changed. And while i was at it would new plugs make a difference. I was gonna change the plugs in the near future because i was gonna get a nitrous kit. But should i change the wires too. How often do people change plugs and wires and will it make a difference or should i save the 119.00 on the wires?
The plug wires on my 93 MKVIII gave up at 70,000 mi.It started with a miss going up hills and got worse untill I replaced the wires.Look into a set of the spiral wound, low resistance kind.MSD and Blue Max come to mind. You might as well R&R the plugs too.
are there any spark plug wires that can cause a performance gain that you can feel? Or just a smoothness increase. I don't know if mine have been changed either (97 GT) and I was gonna throw a good set of plugs in soon and shortly thereafter a set of wires. Thanks

Has anyone seen wires for the 99-04 GTs? I've seen them for older cars, but not these years. I know that these have the coilpacks or whatever they're called, but are there aftermarket wires out there yet?
