My car makes max power at 5500. Wouldnt it be beneficial to shift right at that point?

 

stock cams run out of power around 5200-5500 shifting at red line is wasting you time at 6K you are making the same horsepower as 4K. check out a dyno sheet. most people shift 200rpm or so after the max power point. I do redline first but that is just to get me in a little deeper in to the powerband for 2nd
