i bought a pair of authentic aluminum cobra rims. i wanted to know if they would get all messed up if i leaved them on in the winter. i live in ny and when it snows theres alot of salt on the raods

Yes, the lifespan of the rims will be reduced if you leave them on while driving through salt/snow and they may not look nearly as nice as they are now. Buy some cheap winter rims and throw them on, or just buy a winter beater of a car.
