Default foggy lights

my 96 gt has the original headlights on it and they are glazed over horribly. it affects the amount of light put out plus it just looks bad. what will clear them up.

glazed inside or just scratched? If they're scratched, I'd say get new headlight units :-/

Are you sure that it's not just the way those headlights look? Mine kinda look like that, too, and I think all 95-00 GTs do. 01 and up received the smoked lights.

Mine were bad also, i got really fine wet sand paper i think like 400 Grit to start with then got to i think it was like 1000 or 2000 Grit then put a coat of wax over them then they will look good, if it is on the inside then use a heat gun and dry them out and let them set for a while. that should help
