My steering wheel locked up I followed a lock smith's direction, could come out because holiday, so he instructed me to jam screw driver in ignition ( I did) turn to on position, pushed in pin and removed switch. I then took him that he keyed a new on I installed works fine, However now that theft light flashes for 2 min car will start but shuts off. How do I erase codes from my pats module? Or any direction. I have been stranded for two days because holidays cannot get help. Bad spot really need something, temp bypass, toggle switch I was told or push to start will allow? Is this true so I can get home?
