Default Essential electrical connections for driving

So I am halfway through my heater core replacement, my dash is out of my car. Unfortunately I forgot to have my A/C evacuated beforehand... seeing as my only option is to professionally have this done, I am left with either towing the car to my nearest shop or hooking the dash back up. I am almost considering throwing the dash in by the main bolts, hooking my ignition up and calling it good. Is there anything else I need to do with the airbags or speedo? The shop is literally 2 blocks away so I’m not worried about safety precautions. Just enough to get me there... sorry for the spam threads just a lot of questions. Thanks!

Just loosen up one of the line connections at the compressor a little and allow it to discharge on its own. Place a rag around it so oil doesn't go everywhere. I promise that baby seals won't die because you did this and I can also assure you that Al Gore is full of shet, just make sure to do it in a well ventilated area.

People wanna give you a hard time about it? Well really now what's the difference between that and a system with a leak? For real though. They can take their self righteous moral high ground and shove it. Git er done.

You do know it's illegal to discharge refrigerant into the atmosphere, right?

Not giving anyone a hard time, just know, that it is illegal, is all... Do what you
will, just know that it's against the law to do that. People do it all the time, I know,
but just in case you're an environMENTAList, it's illegal... Heh heh....

Yeah, there is that. Hopefully the EPA isn't doing any sort of sting operation in his neighborhood.
