Default Weird bog issue

So last spring I had some repairs done to my a/c system because the previous owner had installed a cai with a flange that's supposed to delect heat. Well the flange had vibrated through the high pressure line and cut a hole into it. So I took it to a shop and the shop installed a new high pressure line and a new evaporator and charged the a/c with new Freon. The a/c blows cold air and the heat blows hot air. The problem is while driving, (not at idle) especially 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear, with either the a/c on or the defrost on. It feels like the car slightly bogs or jerks a little every time the compressor cycles. Is this a telltale sign of a bad compressor and or compressor clutch? Or is their any other possibilities? I'm thinking at this point that I'm either going to pull the a/c relay or disconnect the connector at the compressor. Will this harm anything with a charged a/c system? Thx for any input.

My 2000 GT Vert does the same thing. Mine only does it when i try to floor it and very quickly shift. It doesn't do it if i drive normally. My Compressor exploded and caused a bunch of shrapnel that cut soft lines and clogged up the hard lines. After getting the entire ac system changed to brand new stuff it still jerks. I don't think the problem is the ac system. I think they are just old sports cars and back in the day they didn't expect you to do any pulls or hard acceleration with the ac on. Remember AC robs you of about 5% of your power which doesn't seem like a lot but its definitely noticeable when you don't make a lot as is.

True they due rob about 5% or so, however the ecu knows this and compensates by advancing the timing slightly. So just until I can figure out what's going on, is it safe to disconnect the connector at the a/c clutch with a charged system? I've done this before with a different stang, but there wasn't a charge in the system.
