Question ModMax?

New to the site. Have a 2003 Mach. I know there will be varying opinions on this but I need a new short block and am trying to decide who to go to. Probably will opt for all forged, undecided on alum or steel. I see ModMax everywhere but have read a ton of bad reviews on customer service and lead time issues. No shop will be perfect but I need a quality product and human on the other end who answers (at least most of the time). Can I get some advise? Thanks in advance!

Ive used modmax a ton in the past for parts, theyve always been good for me. I cant speak about their pre-assembled engines but from my experience theres horror stories for EVERY SINGLE builder, shop, machine shop, speed shop etc.. give them a call and feel it out from there
