I have to get a new engine for my 05 (long story..haha). One of the places I'm looking at is MMR. They can send me a crate engine, but it comes with an 03/04 cobra block (cast iron).. They told me for $400 more I can get the Alum mach 1/explorer block. I have been searching for info and only screwing myself up more.. I read SHM said its only good for 600hp and the teskid good for 900hp... Is the mach block only good for 600hp? Is there certain years I should ask for? Is it a WAP or mach or exploere block... I'm lost =-(

save some money and trouble in the long run and just get the cobra block.
