Default p51 intake vs bullitt intake

Well? Which is better?
I believe they are close in price...
So I am just wondering which is better.
I saw in MM&FF in the GT N/A Shootout they either had STOCK or they had the Bullitt intake.
I am wondering why none of them had the p51.
As most of you know- they all were running Flat(low)-12's-Mid 12's
no power adders etc.

So I am just curious as to which is better.

Lets discuss, shall we?

I was wondering the same thing. I even took a gander at "How to build max-performance 4.6 liter..." and he recommended the bullit over stock, but never mentions the p-51 intake.

The P51 outflows the bullitt supposedly, but its a bit more expensive also.

The main reason that they don't mention it is because it is fairly new to the market (only been around 6-8 months, it may be a little longer) But If you want more infor on this intake Code3GT has one, and I am sure that he will talk about it when he gets on here. You can also go to Fox Lake Raceing's web site and read the info on it. ( http://foxlake.accrisoft.com//index....fd848dbaf53c94 ) If you want more info on this intake go check out http://forums.modulardepot.com/ There are a lot of posts on it and a bunch of them have it with various amounts of mods. I am looking at getting the P-51 intake with P&P heads and cams next year sometime. It is a very good intake and shows 10 RWHP gain on a stock GT, so with other mods the gains will be better. Check out the links posted and you will find all the info that you will need to make a decision about what intake to get.

P-51 is the best of them all for GT's right now. But they are alot of $$ and alot of people don't want to pay it.

The P51 intake was my choice after alot of research. The great thing about it is that you don't lose anything in the low end because of runner design. They are ugly, but perform very well. The main reason I went with the P51 was the price, the Bullitts are getting pretty pricey and they don't flow as well as the P51. The other reason, I went with the aftermarket vs stock intake was my cam size. I wanted big, nasty cams and the stock intake would not support them. Look at the article again and pay close attention to cam specs. The cams were quite a bit smaller than mine, therefor the stock intake still works well. RR makes an awesome intake and it looks incredible, but is better suited for an FI platform.

That because it is probably by SHM. He is somewhat of a black sheep in the "Big Boys" modular circles. Their customer service and workmanship leaves alot to the imagination. Just my .02. Oh and BTW, I checked into SHM, when I was doing my research for my build and was not impressed.
