However, Im moving on.. So heres the story. My dad FREAKED OUT, like I can't even tell you kind of freaked out when I told him I wanted to change some of my body style. If I may quote him, "Your car has the hottest style and is so unqiue, just stop it." And he basically shut down anything I tried to say.

SOOOO... Back to my original plan. Time to build the most unique looking mustang!
Look at the picture on the bottom, its one of the only other kaminari bodies I've seen, however, with that being said, it does look pretty cool. What you think?

I know I could make my car look good, but I needed some ideas.
So Im going to go ahead and get wheels + tires now for christmas and then continue to build. Any ideas gearing toward my current car would be greatly appreciate. Things you think would make it look good.

I DONT want bullitt wheels, they are SOO ugly.
I want to go with 18' wheels. I may be interested in a nice looking deep dish because I want to do a trim down the road with the lip of the deep dishes.
What do you guys think of white wheels on a white body? Like the 2000 Saleen SR..

So what wheels? And can you guys recommend some tire brands + sizes?

Yea, see I really like those.
Although the problem is, I may want to get a custom paint job down the road. My ultimate dream is to have a custom paint job of a metallic silver with a metallic blue trim. My god that looks nice.

So I think Im going to have to stick with the alloy or chrome in case I do change the color, which I plan to do down the road. Im also starting to lean toward deep dishes because with my paint I want the blue trim around the lip of the wheels.

So what kind of 18' deep dish is going to look good..? Nothing TOO much, but nice and interesting that looks good... Pics would be good.

 

Said it before in another of your posts and I will say it again. Go to a bunch of mustang shows/cruises. See what's there, how people have done their cars, and what you like. Then decide what you want to do. Don't do like I did and just start buying stuff. I now have a garage full of stuff I no longer like. And you have very little chance of selling used appearance pieces.
Where do you live? Their are most likely mustang clubs, cruises and shows in your area.

 

I live in Northern New Jersey. Bergan County to be exact.
There are shows around, but none at this time [:@] Its toooo cold and the snow is coming..

Althought, not to many mustangs at the shows Ive been too, aleast any 99-04's.

i dont know much about the hood you have on there right now, is the scoop funtional? if not then why did they screw w/ the symmetry of the car

 

ok heres my $.02

get rid of that body kit, and get a saleen or cobra with side exhaust, and a mach 1 hood with the shaker scoop

for rims, go with black 18x10.5" deep dish bullits with a chrome lip in the back and 18x9 in the front with michelen piolet sports all the way around

thats for the body, which i dont know why you want to play around with that first, for all that i would buy a vortech, gears, tune, and forge the internals probably, im all about speed and dont care about looks

 

I don't know why you're dad freaked, that car is frankly a bit too "rice" for me... There is a chick down here with a nearly identical car (3.8L Coupe and stock hood(with "GT" non-functional scoop)) And I don't like it, but since you are going to keep it, try to get a better hood, like the others have said, if it isn't functional, it's hurting the symmatry of the car (aerodynamics, etc). Anyway, for non bullitt rims, I'd personally go with either Cobra "R" or FR500. There's a Saleen mock-up that has the FR500 wheels and they are SICK. I personally have the Steeda Race Wing and I think it's pretty nice, though You could go with the Saleen S281/S351 wing, they make the car look a little longer ;-p

Yes the scoop is functional, and I don't really know why they would mess with the symmetry of the car. The only thing I can think of is a staight feed of air to the CAI (which I dont have YET) or maybe a blower that would be located on that side of the engine. Thats kinda what I think they were aiming for.

If you look at that car I posted above that has the same body kit, I think that looks cool as hell (except I hate the colors he chose, lol). So I now know that the style can look very good, and of course unique at the same time, with the right additions.

Anyone know what kind of wheels that guy has on there?

 

they look like an a/m version of the steeda ultralite II's. Which I also think are great wheels :-p
