the fox lake manifold is a very heavy piece. for weight/cost efficiency, a ported or stock bullit is just as good. it's only a few ponies difference. the price and weight are a big difference.

what are some drivetrain/suspension mods that you recommend doing. The only suspension mods i have sitting at my house is kyb shocks/struts (haven't had the time to put them on yet)...but what other suspension and drivetrain mods would you recommend for my car???
I'd recommend coil-overs, adjustable control arms, tubular K-member, maybe a bump-steer kit, and sub-frame connectors.

Maximum Motorsports makes a nice system. Griggs racing is expensive, but makes an awesome suspension system. It all depends on what you want to spend and how much time you have to put into his car. It sounds like you've already got some money in your car.

^^^ Do you know what the going rate for a Bullitt intake is?? Then add the cost to have it ported and you will be way over the price of the P-51 intake. The price in not that much to be even worrying about (before porting it), plus the P-51 intake will out perform the Bullitt intake. And I would be willing to bet that the weight difference is nil between the two also. The Bullitt intake is all aluminum upper/lower.

Hey code Do you know what the weight difference is between the Bullitt and the P-51 is??

Check out Fox Lake's package with the P-51 intake. The following is right off their web-site:

"Our final test scheduled will involve our Fox Lake Stage 2 CNC 2V ported cylinder heads. With our complete package, a good flowing exhaust system and a 75 mm throttle body, customers should realize a 175 hp gain over a stock 4.6 2V baseline! For example, a stock '98 4.6 2V will make approximately 180 rwhp, add Fox Lake CNC PI heads, street cams, and a P-51 intake and expect 300-320 rwhp. Add more aggressive race cams and expect 330-350 rwhp! A gain of up to 160-180 rwhp can be easily achieved. "

Hope this helps, I am not sure how much you want to spend and what you are looking for as far as power goes.
I will admit that I have a little trouble swallowing their "facts". Although it is POSSIBLE to achieve those gains, I doubt very much that it is common........and it's goddamn expensive. Why wouldn't you just go with a S/C?
