Don't get any yet. Hold out for a couple of years and check out the new Challenger and Camaro. The muscle may be coming back and both of those concepts look awesome. I know they'll change. But a Hemi Challenger or LS whatever # Camaro are very intriguing.
In the meantime pick up a 2003 or 04 Cobra as a daily driver.

Meh...I remember when then new Mustang concept came out and I almost cried at how sexy it was. Now look at the damn thing.

Someone said they doubt the GTO would be around in '07. Pontiac's original deal with Holden of Austrailia was a 3 year run. Since the first year of the goat was '04, I tend to agree that you won't see an '07 GTO. They said any future years would depend on sales and they wouldn't be offering "red tag" prices if they were selling well. My personal opinion would be get the GTO only to say you last model year before production was stopped, you know, collectors car. However, I don't think what you have in mind is parking a car like that and not running it.
