Default Center Cap question

I've got Cobra R rims and need to replace the center caps.

First, I'm an idiot...I didn't realize the damn Cobra R center caps were about 35$ apiece...when I was "de-cobraizing" my car, the body shop offered to paint the center caps black for free...which, well, ruined them, I'm guessing.

Second, one of them was cracked anyway.

I don't like it straight black, and I don't want a cobra emblem on my car...I like the bullit center cap that is black with the pony on it, but I'm told that it will not fit a Cobra R rim...

I can't find anything except cobra emblem center caps that will fit the Cobra R rims (go figure).

I do NOT want to buy all new rims...talk about friggin' expensive.

Any ideas?

maybe autobadges.com can fabricate something?

otherwise if nothing else will fit in there i think you're out of luck.......you might just have to be stuck with the cobra R on your wheels.......which is not the same as having cobra badges on there like before you fixed it......i think the R in the wheels is ok.......if it really bothers you i'll trade you my stock 2000 wheels for them

ebay has a seller who sells these decal-type centercaps, they are similar to the classic pony emblems on the 5.0s and older stangs. they come in different sizes, and cost around 20-30 bucks i think. they basically just stick on over your emblems. im gonna get them for my replica saleens sometime. they dont look too bad.

I'll have to check that out, thanks montana.

Code, those look great, but if I get those...well, might as well try to find some way to remove the paint on the ones I have! Hmpf...if only those damn bullit center caps would fit on the Cobra R rims...

Bah, I'll figure something out.

Thanks guys!
