Anyone know how much it costs to get rims painted???

free if ya do it yourself . get a good surface prep, some good spray paint, and some masking tape. I paint alot of stuff. i painted my dirt bike helmet, my computer, my go cart, 2 of my mini bikes. and alot more stuff LOL

Well i found some Cobra R rims for 350 shipped but there white, and im not sure if me painting would be such a good idea

no matter how much you prep, the paint is gonna look like crap in 6 mos. the only way to go with rims is powdercoating

white? yuck. were they originally silver and someone painted them? if so id use paint striper, and strip the paint. If not, paint um black, and stick them on you sexy beast of a GT. i think that would look nice

lol sexy beast? i want em silver and i think they were white to begin with so no paint stripping, o well i dont think i can get em anyway...i want MONEY!! lol

not if you get the paint to stick. but agreed, powdercoating is the best way, but expencive rigth? id just get them chrome diped in that case.

Personally, Im a cheep basterd. I would paint them. lol

i painted my old gt wheels white, they looked like crap before i painted so i figured what the hell. they actually held up real good, then i swapped wheels, and put those in storage. thought i'd never sell them because who wants a set of white wheels that are spray painted unless your car/truck is white and they are deperate. But i did sell them last week thank god
