but i never used power tools on spark plugs a impact can brake the electrod or ceramic. i they are suposed to be torgued but i have never torqued them i just tighten them good not too tight though. and agian use lots of anti sieze.

I am unsure of your year but judging by your body style. be very careful when doing the plugs. Certain years running windsor heads have issues with plugs blowing out of the head.
On a side note did/have you dynoed with you C&L maf? They have a tendancy to make the car dangerously lean.

Remember to torque the plugs. Yes you can tighten them too much! Not fond of the C&L MAF unit either. When I installed the Kenne Bell I had to replace it because of just the reason SilverGTV8 points out, leaned my fuel out and it was a hard MAF to tune. It was easier and better to just replace it with a Super Chips unit. Good luck.

I always use a foot long piece of rubber tubing to start the plugs then tighten with an extension. They are easy to crossthread.
