Cams should be one of the last modifications you should do to your car. I'd get the full exhaust done first then go towards beefing up your rearend completely & getting some D/R's. Then see where you are going to go w/ur car before purchasing some cams.

When you say beefing up your rearend do you mean like getting new axles and stuff like that, or just gears.

Axles, upper/lower control arms, ltd-slip differential, gears, welding the torque-boxes. I mean do it all & get some DR's...u'll be faster froma dig than u'd be w/cams anyway, because you'd be able to use the power better. Now use a built rear w/cams & you are well on your way ot a mean machine.
