ORIGINAL: stangc83

the setup should not rub with the 295 in the rear and the 265 in the front. But the slns do only drop their stangs 1.2 in the front and 1.5 in the rear, not a full 2 all around. even if it does rub, all you gotta do is cut out some of the inside fenderwell. and it would only rub if yo are actually pulling the wheel all the way over
You don't need to cut the fender lips, that's total Ghetto. Roll the fender lips, don't cut them.

Wait untiln you go price those 18" tires...ouch. Go with 17x9 front and 17x10.5 rear. They look really good and will save you alot of $$ on tires.

I have talked to guy with 315/30/18's, no rubbing. Car is dropped 1.5 all around, only modification is quad shocks removed. He posted a video of his car and they looked great. I PM'ed him and asked him all about them as I want to get 315's for my 18x10 Saleens. He said he has had no problems, but yes they are VERY expensive, your looking at around $300-400 per tire. You can get the 315/35/17 for half that price or less!
