Quick Question!!!
I recently purchased new wheels and tires. The wheels are 18x9 / 18x10s. I bought a tire package that my tire shop recommended which was 245x35s up front and 265/40s in the back. My question is... is 245 ok for 9s and 265 ok for 10s?
245/35 stretched on a 9" wide rim is going to have an extremely short sidewall and you will feel every pebble you run over. Granted it looks good, but the sacrifice of the ride quality isn't worth it IMO.
265's will be extremely stretched and have a short sidewall.
For the front's, I recommend you go with a 275/35/18 and the rear's you go with ATLEAST a 285/35/18. You can go bigger in the rear's if you want..

Well i didnt buy from ebay... but the ones i see on ebay like the 9/10 staggered cobras and other wheels have those Nexen tires that are 245/265 and lots of people buy those. I plan on going wider in about 6 months but I wanted thats what they recommeneded. I just dont want these tires to go to waste ya know?

I personally dont like how wide tires fold over the rim... looks like a fat girls stomach haha. Just as long as they will be safe to ride on ... they will be eh?
