Default new midpipe for 97 GT

Hello all~
I have a 1997 GT with a 5 speed. Right now I have a flowmaster (american thunder I believe) cat-back. Going to be pullin the trans and want to put in a new mid pipe while I'm at it. One way or another I'm getting one with the high flow cats. Would the H pipe or X pipe sound better with my setup? And which would give me more power? I have heard the H pipe gives a deep tone and the X gives a louder raspy tone. I'm looking at BBK because it seems like their price is about the same as anyone else (a lil more) but it appears as if they have superior quality. Anyone have a sound clip with either of these setups let me know, it would be great.

Thanks all

George

If your looking for sound go with an H, can't beat the sound from it. But the Prochamber's have been impressing me latley! Check into those too!

I was running that setup. I had the bbk x pipe with the high flow cats and the american thunder catback. The x pipe gives it a nicer deeper tone. Right now im runing the bbk x pipe with the slp loudmouth exhaust. I love the sound of the loudmouths with the bbk x pipe. In all, I am def satisfied with x pipe from bbk.

sound quality is going to be based solely on opinion.

all right idriveamustang, you have me sold on those prochambers. I checked my build date and my 97 GT is technically a 96... so where did you buy it and how much is it gonna cost me? Is that catted or un catted?
Your car is the same color as mine, just different rims.

well, I guess the prochamber has no cats. Does anyone have a sound clip of a stang with a bbk X pipe (catted) with flowmaster cat-back?

Thanks
