If you don't mind boost and can afford it then a supercharger or turbo will get you the victory. If you want all motor, every bolt on, gears, drs. If you got more money heads and cams with all of the other bolt ons will definitely guarantee you victory.
00 Trans Am LS1, mufflers and K&N Filter Vs...

Me. As the car sits now, minus the aluminum driveshaft (I had a bent-yoke stocker, don't as\)

http://videos.streetfire.net/Player....F-629C2D2957FE

Race 2 I screwed up the shifting a bit, didn't rev enough to top out the cams (shifted before redline I mean). Race 3 and 4 look screwy because the camera guy zoomed in and didn't realise it.

We have a rematch coming as soon as I get back up there and the weather is nice. This time it is daylight or bust

As you can see it is a total rape from a stop, and I can beat on him pretty bad from a roll if I hit my shifts. From a slow roll takes me till about 3rd before I really start pulling on him.
Nice kills, your friend needs some lessons from you on how to drive. He sucks bad.

I raced a 2000 ls1 ss camaro, from what i could tell he probally had alot of bolt ons, he had nice wheels, gauge pod, performance stickers on the side windows, exhaust, 6sp so i can guess it was not stock, I was able to pull away from him slowly, but I was spraying a 75 shot, now I have 100shot and pullies, 24lb injectors and a SCT tune and when I get my 4.10 in back any ls1 wont stand a chance....

Ummmm Its an automatic.

There really isn't anything to do other than smash the pedal when the guy yells "go"!! The car wasn't breaking loose even if he just stompt it down, and he was rolling into it slightly.

My car really hooks hard for being on the street, and we had a nice night for it. He is running a stock stall etc, so the car just doesn't launch that hard. But even from a roll if I hit my shifts I put it on him pretty good (you can see how far back he is in the one vid even with the camera zoomed way in).

I don't have too much optimism about whipping on a six speed like that, but from this race I still think I can at LEAST hang with one from a roll up to 100+. And from a stop there arn't too many all stock cars that can keep up on the street, at least at the very begining, simply because its all about the tire you are running.

Your **** moves good out of the hole. I was pulling 1.9x short times when my car was bone stock, so I imagine you're going faster than that at least...on the street.

Got a watch on it yet?

No the closed the fking track. Now all that is left is the 2 really really big boys, or a 5 hour drive. And at the big tracks you are lucky to get 1 night a week for a "test and tune" type setup. Its usually on a freaking wensday, so I cannot go.

I think I am gonna take a day off this summer and head up to KCIR for a run.

Man, I'd have to have a time on that thing. It would bother me til no end until I at least found out what it ran.

I am figuring somewhere in the 12.85-12.95 range. Hell, JD went 13.0x with his gt and no cams (full boltons, gears), and we all know that he can't drive worth a ****.
