Default Gauge Help

Hey guys, I found out why my temp gauge wasn't working on my 2001 GT, the previous owner put on a gauge face and took off the temp needle to install it and didn't re-install it correctly. To install it I am going to have to get the car to operating temp then reinstall it. What I needto do is to get the car to operating temp and reinstall the needle in the correct position. My question is what is the exact position of the needle when at proper operating temp? As always your help is appreciated. If you have a better solution on the calibration please let me know. Thanks.
