grab a 3/8 ratchet and an extension and crawl under on the pass side in front of the axle and look right next to the axle input and you should see the fill plug

big thx beheivjer, and if I decided to replace the gasket how do I go about that without spilling all the gear oil on myself? does anyone know of a place over the net that would sell this type of gaskets? thanks in advance

i didnt use a gasket on mine anymore. i use a tube of stuff called "the right stuff" its by permatex and you dont even need the bolts to keep it together when you are done. You can order the parts fromautozone or me if you want i can get the prices and let you know monday if you want. its cheap either way. the trick is to losen the cover bolts and let it drain and the just pull s the bolts and let it drop. let me know
