For christ's sake don't get dumps (turndowns). It won't really be louder...mayb more rumble from resonating off of the ground. But people who tried found their car to run like ****

You lose soooo much back pressure with dumps.

Its not worth it.

slightly exaggerrated...you will lose 1-3 hp by having turndowns, not that drastic of a drop in back pressure when you consider how much you could lose if you, say, run straight pipes.

How much torque do you lose?

i can see if you run dumps from your headers or even h or x pipe with no mufflers ....but i dont understand.... if you have mufflers and then your turndown how is an extra 4 feet of straight pipe holding that much back pressure

I had turn downs put on my 94 GT 5.0 aqned I really didn't notice any perfrormqance decrease or increase, it just mde it louder inside the cabin. It also took away the throaty mustang sound. I put the pipes back on after about a month.
