Ya I've talked to him, I'm quite impressed with no headwork. But he does have an electric water pump which I am hessitant about on my dd.

Well I've heard that stage 2's with a stock short block are a no go?? Would you suggest going stage 2's with my dd?? In the next couple years, I could see myself getting a forged bottom end by the way.
When I finally do my PI swap, I'm porting the heads and going with stage 2's and new valve springs.. If you want that 300, it's going to need more than stage 1's.

Call the guys over at vtengines, The will be able to help you more because you can tell them what you plan and want out of the car, and they can give you good suggestions about the cams.
This guy is real close with Stage 1's and an MPH tune. He was at 274rwhp and now at 292rwhp

BTW, I don't think it would be a problem to make 300 RWHP with ported heads and stage 1s. My stage 2s don't make much if any more peak RWHP than ones on the stock bottom end, and I made 280 RWHP on a crap tune.

could you get a s/c came if you are n/a? just soo i wont have to buy another cam down the road. will it run fine? whats the difference between the s/c cam and a n/a cam?
