car got stolen...insurance cut the owner a check...then found the car later and the insurance company sold it to the dealer maybe???

I dunno. Theft recovery just doesn't sound good to me. I've seen shows on TV where they had professional car strippers take a car and completely strip it to the frame. It took them something like 3 minutes and change. Something could be missing from this car that was overlooked or something.

I wouldn't be in such a rush. I know it sucks not having a car right now, but try not to settle for something, ya know?

Just make sure your insurance company will cover the car, before purchasing it. I was gonna get a car with a rebuilt title, but my insurance company wouldn't cover it...
