help with e-brake?

Default help with e-brake?

basically i dropped a allen wrench, the exact size i need for the steeda short throw ****er (bolt's that keep coming loose[:@]). down in the center consule.

i have all the bolts holding it in + the lines disconnected. but the only thing holding me back is i cant get the e-brake grip off to slide the wole consule out?

how do you take the e-brake grip off

just buy a new wrench its alot easyer then that!

do i have to twist it? or just pull it striaght off?

Trust me, those are not meant to come off and then put back on. They only come off to stay off, buy another allen wrench if you can. And if for some werid reason you get it off in good shape and are able to successfully reinstall it, more power to ya...I have seen people use a razor blade to cut em off!

nope i got it

i just slipped the boot around the grip and slid it off

dident realize there was a like flexiable nylon-ish stuff at the bottom

as far as my bolt comeing loose problem, what is goin on is that my 2 bolt's on the shifter keep coming loose this is like the 4th time i have tightned them in prolly 2 months

i am thinking of puttin some loc-tite on there?

what kind do i use for this i think they have a blue and red?
