Default Stang Suspension

Time for some suspension work. Ok here is whats up this is my daily driver, need some advice as to what components should havefirst priority because money is tight (damn school haha). Looking for a setup to improve 1/4 mile times, my mods are listed in my sig and a future 100 shot is gonna be put on. Also some brand names would be helpful, at most this stang may dip into the 12s in its life time. thanx in advance

H&R race springs + some U/L control arms + adj. shocks and struts would deff. get you going in the right direction...

exactly............. get the parts from www.stangsuspension.com
They have a discount code you can use. Try these..... 38STANG or mforums. I believe either one will save you 5% or more.

If your looking for a good setup on the cheap, get some foxbody 4cyl front springs, cut a coil off the stockrear springs (just one), then get some control arms from www.blueovalindustries.com and a set of strange 10 way adjustable shocks/struts (strange isn't exactly cheap, but they are really nice).

I am basically running this setup, other than I am running the roush rear drag racing springs in the back, but honestly they are a bit more bumpy than I would like on a DD (mines not). I have had fairly good results so far, and thats with very little time/practice at the strip.
