when i lived in colorado, i would let it warm up for about 5-10 minutes or as long as it took for the defroster to kick in full gear and melt the ice stuck on my windsheild.

not to hijack your thread ...

In my 03 GT, with cold morning starts I have to really, reallytake my time and shift slowly & methodically into 2nd gear when it's the 1st shift of the drive. Anyone else experience this??

like they said above you dont need to let it warm up alot just enough to get the oil moving but when you drive just dont get on it hard till the gauges are up to normal

look, everyones already given you the facts, but what most of them aren't really grasping is its too cold to get into a car up north in the winter when its gettin below 20 degrees.

if you wanna wait till the heat/ defrost kicks on, by all means do it.

when mines cold and the first time or 2 i put it in 2nd, it is a little hard to get in than any other gear. i would say its just the good ol t45 being what it is
