Default Hid kit

Does anyone know of a good spot to mount the 2 ballasts for an HID kit??? I'm installing it tomarrowand dont really see a good spot.

The kit I got from stangmods had a link included that has a website that shows the recommended mount areas. For the passenger side, mine were mounted close to the MAF with plastic push ties or something (the name doesn't come to mind right now). For the driver side, its a little tricky to explain but it was placed more or less in front of the battery behind the headlight assembly. There should be a gap of space that it can hang.

There is a website that has pictures and a more descriptive how-to for this...I just don't remember the exact link.

This is mine on an 02. I turned the passenger side one around with the wires running downward now but its in the same spot

here are mine....

passenger one in front of the airbox





drivers side one down near the radiator






the drivers side one there are screws down udner the black piece over the radiater, the nuts that came with my HIDs worked perfectly, and the passenger side i jsut driled a hole and used the supplied nut and bolt.

here are my fogs also if your doing those, jsut moutned right behidn the fog lights on the bumper

Awesome. Is it really that hard to install?? I have thesame kit as you mustangman. dont know if i should put it in now or wait till i have a few hours.

its not a hard install, me n my buddy was shooting for the "hide the ballast" idea and mounted one under the intake (passenger) and one in the side wall next to the battery (driverside)

nah its not hard, at first i had thebalasts duct taped cuz it was dark i finished at liek 2 am haha but then the next day i mounted em up good
