Most certainly get a 96-01 Cobra or Mach 1 if you like N/A. You can have a mid 12 sec 2v, but its harder to get a whole lot faster than that.

I'm not saying don't get a Mustang, but if you are a fan of N/A power, you are headed in the wrong direction. Slap a 9in in your Camaro, and go crazy.

Yea I would love to have a 96-01 cobra or a mach1 if I can find one. But I would settle for a GT. Money is kinda of a big issue. I really dont want to deal with nitrous and I dont want to get any FI. As much as I would love to put a 9inch in the camaro, I dont feel like dumping 2 grand into a rear end, I rather just get a car tuff enough to handle power and dump money into performance. If I do this trade im going to wait a little longer then sell my car and atleast have a GT or another car with the 4V DOHC.

But overall gears, bolt ons, throttle body, headers exhuast cam and tune can put me in atleast mid 12s right?

Yes, not taking into consideration track quality, elevation and driver skill. Mid 12's with that setup is a very reasonable expectation.

Thats enough for me, I consider myself a pretty good driver, I wont be taking it to the strip much but I just want to have good times I guess.

High 12s.

Don't forget to buy 2 cams instead of 1....

Yeah, theres a couple guys on here without cams/heads in the the high 12s, just full bolt ons, suspension, gears, and a set of DRs. So throw in a set of cams and Mid 12s aren't out of the question if you are indeed a good driver.

edit: spelling
