for safety it should. it will be working the stock full pump close to full cycle.
It does not need to be changed.
and this is coming from a person with a close to stock mustang?

if you knew anything about nitrous and mustangs, wet shot or dry shot, there is a huge lean spike when it hits. i had a stock fuel pump for a while and it worked fine but the lean spike was pretty big and my stock fuel pump was working at close to full cycle. if my fuel pump crapped out on me a little bit during a pull i would go lean and possibly blow my motor. i now have a svt focus pump and it reduced my lean spike prety good. much more safer. i never said you need to change it.
haha, yeah mine is close to stock. And you are right I know nothing about nitrous[8D]. My car just traps 110 with weight reduction and exhaust. Calm down man, i just said it did not have to be changed for a 100 shot which it doesnt. And do some research before you call someone out...

Race car huh? lol

Car sounds good.

Alright now, I dont care what you say, and I am not gonna make an excuse, I had a 2.4 60 and i am not the best driver, but the driver mod has nothing to do with mechanical work. Bottomline, you dont have to change the fuel pump for a 100 shot.
BottomlineI NEVER said you HAD to change the pump. i said it is SAFER.

my bad for saying that **** but i hate when bad advice gets givin on here. sooner or later you are gonna ahve to change that pump. some tuners around me wont even tune the car with a 100 shot + with the stock pump. its just not as safe

Changing is definitely on my to do list, and does make it safer. Do you know where you can pick the focus pumps up at? Damn, i need to start saving some money for my car, there is so much that i want/need to do to it this coming summer.[:@]

I think the Focus pump is around $100.

I'm pretty sure it's a direct swap. You can get them on Ebay, dealership, Motorcraft, etc......

Just make sure you get the SVT Focus pump, not the regular Focus
