So the count is in! SVT Focus Fuel pump, NX 2V Plate Kit, Nitto 555R DR's, and a custom dyno tune by THR! As of Feb 1st, i will own a Forced Induction car!!!

And all for $1200!

Window switch and WOT switch will be included too!
nitrous is NOT forced induction!

That sounds like a great list! Call it a chemical power adder

Just make sure you get the SVT Focus pump, not the regular Focus
I was talking to an SVT parts dealer and he said the pump was not SVT specific, but from all 03-04 foci. Here's what he said:

"It's not SVT specific, I sell a ton of them to Mustang and Cobra guys. I'm not really sure who figured it out in the first place but the '03-'04 pump is the one everyone uses, It's the cheapest Focus pump for sure and apparently has a good flow rate or Cobra guys wouldn't be running them in place of their stock pumps. I've sold the '03-'04 Focus pumps to guys with Contours, Mustang GT's, Cobra's both 2nd and 3rd gen, Escorts and earlier Foci. It's just a good inexpensive pump."

I went to work (Advance Auto Parts) and checked the part numbersand sure enough the SVT had the same pump as other foci of that year. They made a change to the pumps in midyear '02 I believe, so the newer ones flowed better. This is the first time I ever heard of this, as I hve always read they were from SVT's...

Oh I know that, I was just stating that I have heard the pumps are not SVT specific like I always read on the forums...

window switch, wot switch

some things you dont need but recomended
bottle heater so you have the same pressure all the time
fuel pressure safety switch, i dont have one because i trust my tune but i might just get one later, just for extra extra insurence.

My car has no lean spike... my car is fully rich by 4260 rpm, and the nitrous comes on at 4300... its a dry kit all the fuel is added by the injectors through the tune. How in the world would i encounter a lean spike when the fuel is added before the nitrous. The nitrous is simply added after the car is rich to lean out the afr.. And yes my car going rich is the worst that could happen. if i forget to arm the nitrous, if the wires short out, no matter what i have one noid if something happens to it and it does not open the tune is just setup real rich. Nothing to really worry about except loosing a race.

and on a sidenote i tuned my car for a 100whp hit at the wheel DRY no problems..... ill probly go one step up aswell, no lean spikes, no worry about extra parts sticking, or not working.. hell the worst thing that could possibly happen is my nitrious noid doesnt open up for one reason or another and the car just runs super rich.
so are you the only one with a mustang that is using nitrous and isnt having a lean spike?? please let me know what you are doing. because its un heard of.
just explained it in the post above. really isnt that hard.
