Default Tire Help

Well one of my BFG Drag Radials got a nail in it. I figured, no problem, I got the road hazard at Sears when I got them just in case I needed it. I went there, and they apparently wont repair drag radials with nails/road hazard problems. So I was forced to yell at them and get my money back for the road hazard protection that I bought.

Now I need new tires. The car is supercharged, running a good amount of power ~360 rwhp. So im curious as to what you other supercharged/high output guys are running. I was thinking the KDWs...unless someone else has a better idea, I'm open to any suggestions. I'm just most familiar with the KDW.

Also...is there anything I can do with Sears??? Had I known that they wouldn't honor the road hazard, I probably would not have bought these tires in the first place and just gone with the KDWs.

This is very upsetting and upwards of a $600 decision...so thanks for any help. [&:]

If Sears won't fix it then take your tire to a regular garage and get it fixed for $3.
Thats what I do if I get a nail in a tire, or fix it yourself with a tire plug kit for $5. Then you can fix your own tires.

Yup. Take it and let someone else fix it.

I have been on D/R's full time for about 3 months, and I can't imagine how I ever drove on street tires. And you have 30rwhp on me.

I'm on Nitto's as of right now, and they are GREAT(for the street)!

Update: Nobody in the area will patch/plug the tire. I was going to buy one of the DIY kits...but is it safe? Supposedly they won't patch drag radials because it's just not a safe thing to do. I don't want it to blow out in a couple of days.[&:]
