Default drivetrain noises

I have a 2002 mustang gt 5 speed. I have been reading around and from what it sounds like the drivetrain is notorious for being sloppy so I just want to make sure all the things that i am hearing and feeling are normal.
1. car bucks at low rpms in 1st and 2nd gear
2. when i get under the car and turn the driveshaft i hear it making noise in the tranny
3.when i am in 1st or 2nd gear and am on the gas and then just let off without pushing in the clutch i hear and feel the loose drivetain and hear something clacking around(kind of like swaying back and forth)
4. clunks when i shift down while coming to a stop
hmm i think thats it

My friend that works on these cars for a living says thats normal. the tranny that comes in our cars is crap from the factory and can only handle 350 fwtq. so its just usual to have those noises. if you dont like it, then get a new tranny or rebuild yours with better than factory parts. just what i was told by my mechanic.
