lowering question?

Default lowering question?

I am wanting to know if you just lower your stang 1.5 to 2.0 inches do you have to get CC plates?

You should get CC plates with any drop, but you won't notice too much tire wear unless you go lower than 1.5.

i have 2 in the front and 1.6 in the rear no C/C plates but i do have steeda X2 balljoints for the front which lower it that extra.5 in.

regular eibach pro kit.....before i did the ball joints and took out the rear isolators

With any change in ride height it is recommended that you get an alignment, from cars that I've seen on an alignment machine, within an inch of stock height the alignment is not affected too drastically but anything over that up to 1.5" there is a noticeable difference in tirewear, and anything above that the tirewear increases exponentially. With that said, I have a 2.5" drop in the front and 2.25" in the rear, maximum motorsports bilstein coilovers and maximum motorsports 4 bolt caster/camber plates.
