Who here is running spacers?
Just like the title says...
Whos running spacers?
How big of one?
How long have you had it on?
Any probs with them?
I'm putting on 1/2" spacers on the rear so I can clear the 18x9's I just bought. Theyre hub-centric..and I bought Moroso racing wheel studs b/c it said I needed longer studs.

RE: Who here is running spacers?
I am currently running 1.25" hubcentric spacers in the rear. I have only had them installed for a couple of weeks, but haven't had any problems....just make sure they are torqued down correctly.
I don't understand though why you would need longer studs, or even new studs, for a hubcentric spacer. Hubcentric spacers come with their own studs for the wheel to bolt to, so with a 1/2" spacer your stock studs would probably need cut to clear the face of the spacer allowing your wheel to sit flush against your spacer?

RE: Who here is running spacers?
I have a 1" hubcentric spacers waiting to go on my rear, but haven't had the time. Plus I'm a little worried as I've had to sand down the middle of the spacer, and the rotor hub in order to get them to fit. But it is a snug fit. There was a thread regarding spacers over on 3.8 Mustang, with some pretty good technical responses if you happened to be worried.

RE: Who here is running spacers?
I have H&R 30mm hubcentric spacers on my rear and have no problems with them. Most wheels have notches inbetween the stud holes so even if the old studs stick out past the spacer it should not bea problem.
