Default PCV Valve (searched)

I had a ticking sound coming from my engine, couldn't figure out what it was. My mechanic said it was my PCV valve, the hose was worn and it was sucking, this caused the pressure to build up and make the valve click. I decided to replace the valve and the hose going from the hardline to the intake. The hose was no problem, but the valve I got at advance auto parts doesn't fit in the valve cover as snugly as the original.

How tight does the PCV valve have to be in the intake? I don't want to blow oil all over my valve cover. For now, I wrapped some electrical tape around it so it's a little tighter, but I guess I'll be buying a proper Motorcraft one at the ford dealership tomorrow.

Kind of a stupid answer, but here ya go: You want it as tight as the one that was in your car previously[8D]
