I like my vert but with exhaust and all there's alot of interior noise
Good point, I never thought about the interior noise. But I think I'm really leaning towards getting a vert..

OK, I'm buying an '03 or '04 cobra very soon and I am not sure to go with a coupe or convertable. What do you guys think is better looking? I know the vert is about 150 lbs or more heavier but does anyone know if you can tell at all when youre driving if that makes a difference??
SO - what looks better in your oppinion and does the vert differ at all in driving from the coupe??

lol a vert isnt going to make a difference in the handling of the terminator!

now which should you choose? vert or coupe?

well....of course, the decision is yours. but here is my 2 cents:

i wont ever own another "vert" again!! my last mustang i drove dd for 6 - 7 years. after about 4 to 5 years, the top starting getting tears in it, and ripping....just basicly falling apart. the ONLY time i ever took the top down was at night!! its pimp as hell at night!! but where i live...the temp outside gets in the triple digits, and taking the top down during the day, just made it worse!! provided NO shade, with the sun just beatin down on you. ugh...miserable.

EDIT: plus the couple looks ten times better!!

=]~

verts come with subframe connector stock, so you don't need to buy those. The weight difference is minimal and doesnt mean to much. as far as drag racing you would lose .1 off you time if that. the old fox bodies vert had alot of extra weight so those suck, but the new edge vert are well as i said. So it is up to you. both look good, verts are fun to run around with the top down and chicks love it. and in the summer time and the car is fn hot as hell inside all you do it just drop the top and instant coolness in the car. Trunk space sucks with a vert since you cant fold down the back seats but stangs dont have much to begin with.
Top care is really easy to do and i clean my top 2x a year with special cleanerand it looks great! So it is up to you
I got mine becuase i looking into newer stang and found this one for a steal. I also race it about 4x a month. I wish they would let me drop the top at the track so i could get better times. lol good luck with the cobra. either way you go you wont be disapointed. It'sa COBRA!!!

TERMI COBRA VERT!! ULTIMATE CAR OF ALL TIME!

I SO wanted a termi drop top, but it was out of my range, so I settled for a GT but still got the vert

And yeah the chicks dig it... but I found everybody digs it. I get mad compliments from old schoolers all the time. Drop top night cruising is def the best

Convertible. Top up; top down in 5 seconds. Best of both worlds. Like anything - you take care of the top - and the top will take care of you.
