COUPE OR CONVERTABLE????
It's a preference thing if your'e not hard core into racing.
you'll find a ton of people who hate 'verts and a ton that love them.
I was similarly worried when I bought my first 'vert, a 99GT. Now I never want to be without one. I love being able to put the top down on a nice day or warm evening. Hell, I'll put the top down when it's freezing cold outside and just put a coat on.
Oh, and, generally, women love convertables.

[:'(]to most of this thread...verts are ugly... black car with a black top is almost tolerable, or white with white...but then the top of your car is still ribbed and it looks hideous...boooo
I have owned both and wouldn't even think about owning another convertible mustang. They are slow, ugly, loud, and cold as hell during the winter. Not to mention hot as hell in the summer with the top down. Coupe FTW.
Like I said, it all comes down to opinion. I've owned both too and I wouldn't own a mustang that WASN'T a convertable unless I had it as specifically as a track car.... and even then only if I also had a 'vert.
You'll have to figure out what YOU like and go for it and ignore those who disagree with you because it is OPINION.

To everyone - Thanks for all your opinions!!!
And I do have to say one thing... Coupe in my opinion does look better then a vert with the top up (ESPECIALY with window louvers).. but put the top down and it's a different story.. that's just how I feel.
