COUPE OR CONVERTABLE????
Man i have a coupe and want a vert. Every one has a point that they are making. You drive your car like i do, dd, not caring about road noise andsome luxuries not being there, and try to pickup chicks and for that, you need a convertible. Driving to work everyday in the snow, and/or at the track, you need a coupe.

Imean, were all supposed to be car enthusiasts.....why knock someone elses preferences or tastes so harshly.
Unless its rice. [:'(]
I don't know.....thats just me I guess.
o ya i had a coupe before i got my vert, and still like the vert a lot better, 03-04 cobra tops are a lot better then the gt ones, mine doesnt leak at all and it makes no wind noise, my top is about 4 years old and no sign of tearing, rips or anything, looks practically new

I have owned both and wouldn't even think about owning another convertible mustang. They are slow, ugly, loud, and cold as hell during the winter. Not to mention hot as hell in the summer with the top down. Coupe FTW.

i gaurentee you my vert will spank your coupe... just cause ur old vert may have lacked the driver to back it up does not make all verts slow.
and everyone on here talks about verts leaking... i DD mine and have yet to see a drop of water enter the car... maybe if some of you took care of your vehicle you would not have issues. same goes with the top.. my car is an 01 and it looks brand new, take care of your stuff and you wont have issues. Cobra Vert FTMFW
Get the vert! It is worth getting. Sure its another thing to maintain, but it gives a fun factor that coupes can only dream about.
Don't get me wrong. When I went out to find my first Stang, I wanted a coupe. What I found was a steal for a vert, easily 2500 cheaper than any of the coupes I was looking at. Now, except for a all-dragstrip car, I would probably always get a vert.
Dropping the top on a very starry night makes the car worth every penny.

I have now owned two verts. and i've loved them both (03 V6, now a 02 gt). Theres a slight difference in head room between a vert and a coupe, but the vert. is just so much more fun to drive. I would actually only recomend the vert. if u actually plan on dropping the top every so often.
+plus its nice to get compliments from kids all the way up to old people on a daily basis.
Also a quick note: Make sure you buy the "top cleaner" if u got the vert. It keeps the fabric clean and protected and will add more life. i use it evertime i detail my car (every saturday)

Thanks for the advice man. My avatar is my new cobra. I really wanted a black one but the yellow one was pretty cheap at the auction so I took it. I mean hell, it's a cobra. Who cares if it's yellow. I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow!!
I'll also keep in mind to get that cleaner for the top.. what brand do you recommend?
