New Torque Converter.....
Hey. Im looking at getting a new torque converter for my 99gt. I want something with more stall speed to help me get off the line faster. I plan on getting 4.10 gears too. Which converter do you guys recommend for a fun street car? Also, what can I expect for install price?
Ah. Bump. Im looking at Precision Industries right now. I don't want to be spend 800 bucks on one either really. But I want a good *** one. What can I look at for the install cost?
spend the money on a good one or your wasting your time. what kind of power are you putting down ?Have you done the j mod valve body swap ? if not you should start there. I have been 11.90 on stock converter. add your gears a trans cooler and the j mod then a converter when you need one. just my 2 cents

Wasn't there a place you could buy j-modded valve bodies?

from what I understand you want a multi disc or your asking for trouble. when the single disc goes it trashes the tranny as well. just what I have read?
