im with you on the "to dos" i just bought the 410s, will be installed next week (wed). i went with the ford motorsports, was told by a couple people here anda local drag racer that they are the best for the money. no excessive noise and they hold up to his 10sec car. i chose to go with the xcal3 new. i have heard mostly bad or negative things about the used one or i would have searched for one, plus the used ones are only for sale for 50 bucks less. not enough discount for me!!
anyway, ill let you know next week how i like the combo. my car is also not a DD and prolly wont see much if any highway time.

oh, i an o2GT with same mods as you so, good comparison.

Highway driving isn't going to hurt it though is it? Every so often I get on the highway, so I just want to make sure...

Traction control works the same with the new gears. You can turn it off entirely with the tuner but I chose not to in case I get caught out in the rain or something. I have hardly any traction when it's a little wet out and like the helpof Traction Control. I also kept the TC on while I was breaking in the new gears (about 300 miles without "getting on it") to help get used to them and to remind me to keep my foot out of it for a little while.

Highway driving won't hurt it. It will take a little bit of your gas mileage from the higher rpms but its not really noticeable to me. Don't fear the highway or anything. I love getting on there and opening it up when theres no traffic. It just may be a nuisance if you had to drive on the highway for 40 miles a day or something. Your car will have some ***** even in 5th gear. When I was driving home after I got the gears installed, I wanted to shift into 6th...but it wasn't there...haha

that seems kinda steep. u can buy gears yourself for $150 and find someplace that will install them for about $200-250 probly.
