Gears are a good idea, Next mod should be an o/r x-pipe, jegs has a nice one that can be bought and installed for $225, more power and a much better sound

xkyle... I thought about the but o/r pipes are going to give me a hell of a time when I have to smog... Here in Vegas emissions are a real pain in the a$$.
But I agree it would be nice to do...

 

well..stop complaining and buy mil eliminators.

Hey guys the performance shop said they wont get the part in until tuesday... Is this going to be a problem due to me getting my gears tomorrow?

 

Part as in the tuner? If so, then I wouldn't worry too much. How much do you plan on driving it between now and Tuesday? I'm not really sure how off your speedo will be but it can't be bad enough to warrant not driving at all. I doubt you'll drive it enough to really throw off the odometer as well. If it were me, I would get the gears tomorrow...but that's because I have no patience. If you can wait a few more days and have it all done together, that wouldn't hurt either. At this point, it's really up to you.

If you are talking about a part other than the tuner, then I'm not really sure since I don't know what you are referencing [8D]

 

Well guys, Its in the shop now and will be picking it up around 4:30... Yeah the part I was talking about was the tuner, so I will get it some time tuesday... My wife and I are going to the Drag races this weekend so I wont be driving the stang that much till tuesday... We are going touse her truck until then... Oh and the shop getting the gears done, their parking lot is mostly gravel... This is going to be funStock tires and loose ground, thats a good way to get used to the new gears...

 

If you manage to get it out of the gravel and onto solid pavement, make sure they don't whine before you get too far from the shop. If they don't whine, have fun!!!

 

Get this one guys, The guy called me and daid that the old bearings were shot... Kind of funny since the dealership said there was nothing wrong and the noise was coming from the limited slip rear end and that it was normal... You might hear my voice where you are Monday when I get ahold of the dealership!!! Thank god the quote was to replace everything in there...

 

Yea, mine were shot too. How'd they feel so far?
