If you have a Procharger.... Come on in!

RE: If you have a Procharger.... Come on in!
I think it's a 5/8 socket but can't remember for sure. I've taken mine off a couple of times to change it. It's fine to do if your changing the belt while your at it but I wouldn't take the head unit off just to change the oil. Get a long extension and just hit it from the bottom.
Vic, I've got the stock drive shaftand tranny in mine too. I'm not really too worried about the drive shaft but I worry about the tranny. I've heard of people running 600 rwhp through the 3650 but I don't think they have been leaving off the line at 5000 rpms with drag radials either. After I reached the 500 rwhp mark I still had all stock tranny, drive shaft and rear end with the exception of Moser axles and 4.30 gears. The tranny and drive shaft are still fine but the rear end busted on me the first time I sprayed it off the line at the track. After checking out the damages to the rear end we found that it was due to the pinion pushing the ring gear away from it until the axles busted the carrier. I strongly recommend anyone that doesn't have a girdle to get one. It'll stop that flex.

I have done it both ways, on and off the car. But when doing it on the car, just use a decent size drain pan and better come prepared with a couple of cans of carb or brake cleaner. Make sure not to get any cleaner on the ID tag though, the paint comes right off. FTL

It's nothing that a good car wash can't cure. I've watched my buddy do his. Although, I'm not going to volunteer to his car, if I had a Procharger I'd certainly do it myself.

+1 you need to get special oil from procharger to do the oil change for the blower. They sell it in three bottle packs for the P-1sc, just order it off their website and give them a call.

do it your self... I jack the car up and use an long extension to get to the drain plug and just let it run out...it actually doesn't make as big of a mess as you would think. I also usually try to bump the engine over with a copied key (does not have resistor so engine will not start). Just to try to get as much as possible to drain out.
