Default "Filling" Cobra Bumper

What all is involved with "filling" in or "smoothing" out the COBRA on the 03 - 04 Cobra bumpers? Is it as simple as filling it in with bondo or some other body filler, or is it more complicated than that? I know that there would be quite a bit of sanding and finishing required before it was in paintable condition, I just didn't know how people were deleting the COBRA part.

I would imagine that it wouldn't be too hard to do. I'm not sure though. It seems as if you could just get some kind of plastic filler and fill in the lettering, let it dry and smooth it to the contour of the bumper.

As far as I understand, You fill it with bondo or another filler like you said and sand it smooth and then prep it for paint.

NO BONDO...... 3m makes a urathane epoxy made for bumpers and such.... Make sure you either have a professional do it or you REALLY take your time because even after paint with pofessional workmanship, most peoples finished products you can still see, "Goasting" of the original lettering.

Why doesn't cevinis or someone just make that bumper. Theres literally thousands on new edges that would be running around with nice shiney new bumpers.

+1 Bondo can crack on plastic and will have a hard time sticking.
