BTW does anyone have any information on who will be making the new heads? And yeah I think alot of people will want them so I am not getting my hopes up on a good price =-(...everything is so expensive.

 

im confused here...where did it say anything about a new head design??? i saw the part about being sworn to secrecy, but was that it??? and i want to know some details. they cant just hint at something and not give us no info. dontcha hate that.

Well I'm ready! We've waited long enough.

 

i doubt anyone will ever come up with a good flowing 2v head, the cylinder is too small diameter wise. the largest factor in good flow numbers lies within the ability to move air past the valve. the valve size has the biggest effect on flow not the port. the 5.0 heads work so well because of the motors 4 inch bore, allowing the use of 1.9- sometimes 2.2 valves (cylinders will need some work for these).

if you are interested in good flowing heads, my best suggestion is a 4 valve swap. the 4 valve heads have much more valve curtain area, which is why the flow numbers are so much more impressive.
