i have it and love it i just need to get a tune to make it run the full potential of what i have

i was reading in 5.0 mustang and super fords that they went to trick flow and after they dynoed it it dynoed at 249 to the rear wheels with just the intake and a 70 mm throttle body

Explain to me what's to "love" about losing torque and only gaining HP after 6000 rpm?
well let see maybe its the fact that i dont go over 6000 rpms
You know that your response helped his arguement, right?

He said you lose torque and only gain HP after 6k, and you said that you never go over 6k, so you're saying that you lost torque and gained no HP since you don't drive it in the area it gains HP.
i see what you mean but i do not plan on going over 6000 RPM since iwould hit my rev limiter an i do not want to blow my motor so i have no plans on going that high
Then you bought an expensive manifold that hurt your performance

Then although the PP intake doesn't gain any HP wouldn't it be a good replacement for a stock intake "IF" the idea was not to loose power and to look good at car shows???

And before anyone starts in... ...I hate the whole "Heat Soaking" argument about intakes, the whole engines metal, what a few more pounds of it.... So don't use that argument.

From what I've seen the P51 intake doesn't loose any down low on S/C applications, can anyone concur this finding first hand? No second hand MF.com **** swaying bubble gum of what one person a said to another persons friend of theirs cousin...

I think the guy in that thread has something else wrong with his car/tune and its not the intakes fault. After I installed my trickflow I raced my buddy on the street who has every mod I do except I have a built block and he stayed with me until I hit 4000rpms and I walked away from him like he hit the brakes.

i believe the trick flow intake is the best one out their, and the intake should have more track testing. kinda like comp stage 2 cams v.s. cms stage two cams; they will both make about the same peak hp numbers, but the cms cams will usally run about 2 tenths faster on the track.

The "guy" in the thread is Tony Whetstone. He's been one of the top modular racers in the last few years. Do a little research and you'll see he knows his ****. His findings are not flawed, but your seat of the pants street racing BS sure is.

Well he is the first to ever stay that he lost performance with the trickflow out of the hundreds of other threads in mustang forums so I wonder who is flawed
