they didn't for me, granted I was using one from an 03 cobra that my buddy let me use while he went through emissions. It just didn't feel, I guess as smooth is a better word, as it does with the catted midpipe in there.

EDIT: I should say, I guess I can't really coment on running longtubes, because both times I was running with a set of shorty's. SO I guess I don't really know what it feels like in a car with longtubes, but I'll still stick to my shorty's.

I agree with Jayc. There are alot of people talking out of their *** in this thread. Dyno numbers mean nothing at all in the real world. ET's are the only numbers that matter. I run faster then 03 cobra's in the 1/8th and I have around 100 less hp.

hey, you know what, I admit, I was wrong, I had it the other way around, I really shouldn't have put my two cents in, I've never driven with long tubes.

With all due respect, my "real world" is driving to work (rarely), a car show or on a cruise every once in a while. So, the only objectifiable way to see what different mods make are from my dyno numbers following tuning. I don't have the time (while it would be fun) to go make 10 1/4 mile passes to see what mods netted me. Just a different perspective.

I run faster then 03 cobra's in the 1/8th and I have around 100 less hp.
....and if they got that power to the ground, weighed as much as you with the same weight transfer and had the same driving ability...you wouldn't. I guess that's the beauty of big power cars....if you can't get it to the ground...it's all for not
