No difference in lower rpm ranges and yes stock rails work fine but have to be modified. The modification comes with the intake and instructions a 5 year old could folllow.

I don't think thats necessarily true. Plenty of people run superchargers on their stock blocks with no issue's what so ever. If the boost is kept at 6-8 psi I see no issues for my stock block. Than from there I can always go built and crank the boost.

I don't know what I'm going to do as of yet, I'm just trying to gather as much info while I'm stock, before I spend money on something I'll regret.

A turbo is alot different then a supercharger. Everybody I know that has turboed their stock block has blown their engine. Even on perfect safe tunes.

Do you know what kits they were running? What size turbo's at what PSI? From what I've gathered, turbo's are a lot less stressful on the motor. So a Kenne Bell would @ 9psi would be a safer bet?

Turbos hit alot harder then a supercharger. They hit full boost at or around 3000rpms and a centri SC doesn't hit full boost until 6000rpms.

The 2 local guys that blew their engines were running the above kit with only 8psi.

I'm not a fan of centrifugal blowers, that sucks about their engines though. I guess it's back to the drawing tables for me. My stang is my DD, so whatever I do it has to stay together for a while.

+1 ... not mention heat and boost spikes, but some people are just hell bent in their internet opinions - you need a built motor to run a turbo (and really use it)

I'm on this forum so I can gather other opinions, and get info that doesn't come from a manufactures website.

Thanks for telling me my daily would explode though, F.I will wait.
